knock knock...
was doing homework for DOT n for the bible study with Huiwen today...
read 1 samuel 2 and ephesians 3:14-20 n even 1 corinthians 2:9...
1 samuel 2 spoke of hannah's setting apart of samuel even though she conceived him only after many years of agonising barren-ness... n her resolve to allow him to b God's minister... never attempting to break her promise to God... n God blessed her with 5 more children...
in ephesians, paul spoke of the love of Christ dat surpasses knowledge n Him who does much more den we ask for or can imagine...
1 corinthians spoke of the Lord's gifts as what hv yet been seen, heard or perceived for those who love Him...
all spoke of gifts that will exceed our expectations n imaginations. yet we often forfeit them for tangible things dat can instantaneously gratify our desires. if only we could learn to sacrifice alittle n wait for the greater... easier said den done. we choose not to spend 5 min to read the bible but spend 5 hours roaming around the streets... attempting to seek solace n fulfilment from the time spent with our friends... so many decisions made to forego greater gifts so dat we can satisfy our desires immediately...
