knock...
went to joo chiat in the hope of feasting on authentic peranakan cuisine. ended up at a restaurant with the merlion label and thumbs up from makan sutra... obviously these people who did all these accreditation din grow up in peranakan families with fantastic home-cooked meals prepared by nonyas who pride themselves on pounding the perfect rempahs... even their sambal belacan was substandard. freaking sad. i miss the one who did catering at mama's wake. no complaints. as true as can get. urgh. i need to do some cooking...
did awfully chocolate rum n cherry... ooohhh... yummy. had 3 slices all in all. unfortunately today's chocolate coating hardened with days... how disappointing. time to get another fresh one!
sep hasnt been good so far. tough tough tough time. with all the banging... den lately some sad cases in clinic also. dunno y some ppl worry for nothing when ppl who'r going through so much more still find the strength to live on bravely n optimistically. c'mon la... get a life n quit worrying bout nothing can... so sad so sad so sad.
well... on a better note... bought another dress... wahahaha... though i dunno when i can wear it... saw quite a few dresses i like but well... size not perfect so bought one only... anyway a few frenz marrying this yr so surely can get to wear... waaahahahaa... if i maintain weight. gonna b one of the sista... whahahahaha... gonna sabo the guys big time. eh oh! too bad! wahahahaha. so exciting.
