dong!i help those who would benefit from PM's generosity thank him. but hor, last i heard... the bulk of the majority are not benefitting alot from the pay raise. u sure were emotional when u stood by the decision u made... i somewhat see dat u feel dat the ppl dun love u enuff to see dat u deserve such an increment. dongz! thing is... if u want us to feel like u really love us and the country den shdnt money not b an issue? we keep harping on the imptance of the lure of the finances but shdnt the greatest rewards b of intrinsic value? r we telling everyone dat we need da money to convince us dat we'r passionate about something? so if i get better returns elsewhere, i shall always look towards dat cash-ier pasture n not do something dat i feel called to? is money gonna b our primary motivation?n the truth is... those who can sit n debate issues in the house probably dun need dat bit of money for a better life. those who would truly benefit from a 33% pay raise are those who sit behind the counter until 5pm++++ and rush to the student centre to pick up his/her child(ren) or need time off from work to seek fertility treatment. this 33% helps make sure they can send their children for the enrichment classes of their choice n gives them an opportunity to sit on a plane and head for a family holiday. they are the ones who make sure dat ur ideas penned on paper are more den mere blabber. they're the ones who bear the brunt of the crap from the public when u make decisions dat r supposed to benefit the nation... when u debate about policies dat'r gonna be made in the education system... the teachers sit in on numerous meetings n training seminars to make sure dat wat was said would be executed in the classrooms. u spend hours in a meeting room to brainstorm n pick on ideas. the ones who put them into practice gets the most crap but get the least monetary appreciation. dadah!!!! welcome to the economics of pay increment allocation.
