Wat a good reminder... as we serve, let's not forget to seek Him first.
man... woke up at 4am this morning... ultra sleepy... wanted to tell pa dat i dun wanna drive n sleep in the car instead but well, rare chance of driving on the roads at an unearthly hour so let's grab the chance... hahaha, i think every1 was more stressed den me... pa kept nagging at me not to go above 80km/h, n he din allow me to use left lane. deh! block traffic leh! n he kept asking me to relaX which was like the worst thing to say when u'r trying to ask some1 to relax. anyway, i was not as tensed as he was... hahaha.. even mummy gave a quivering, "hey, dun speed leh" when i went up 2 100km/h... wahahahaha... fun!
hahaha, den the first blooper came when i stopped at steph's colleague, Ju's place... they were trying so hard to fit her luggage into the boot when steph suddenly gave an ultra startled, "hey! stop the car leh!" wahahaha... forgot to pull handbrake. when i was a learner, i was forgot bout releasing it... now, i forget bout utilising it... anyway, for the record, nothing was dead!
n i thot i left home with only a 'P' plate so on my first licensed driving trip, i've already broken the law by displaying only a plate... oops...
driving aside, never ate so much on a wkday... had an enormous omelette sandwich which was really humongous... n den SC went out to buy lunch... which was like green curry! soo soo soo lemakky!!!! but it's delicious n they actually adapted the s'porean taste of adding potato... so off culture but it was good... haa... n i realised dat the clinic is a rather good place to nap in the wee hours of the morning.. wish i'd more hours though... was concussed for a good 3 hours after i reached home...
oh ya... i wanted to address the issue of lying on this blog. i confess. i lied today. though out of good intentions, it was a sin. well, my boss's giving a treat tmr... he found the place i sourced for rather pricey so in order to protect his ego n face, i decided to lie n say dat the restaurant was fully booked n suggested a cheaper alternative... den he started naming all the even more pricey outlets which was like DUH!
in the end, i decided to say we'll leave our name for the waiting list n i'll announce dat we got a place afterall... den was msging SC on my way home... saying dat i was feeling guilty for my dishonesty n i wanted 2 tell him the truth. haa! n he got the hp n read the msg on his own so well... confessed indirectly...
shdnt hv started the first lie... it jux led to so many more lies... haizzz... no liar liar anymore... n worst of all, it displeases the Creator.
